Moderately common in understory of undisturbed forest along Río Iguazú. Almost always on woody plants. Only active at night. Males produce a peculiar low-ultrasound and pure-tone calling song of continuously repeated double pulses (sometimes several minutes without pause, carrier frequency between 20 and 23 kHz). Males 17-18 mm, females at least 30 mm.
