Gender, form, and etymology
Etymology:
The new genus name is a combination of the words para (Ancient Greek παρά), meaning ‘near’ and ‘Hirrius’, the name of the genus Hirrius Bolívar, 1887 under which this new genus and species were hidden for more than 145 years.
