Gender, form, and etymology
Etymology:
The specifc epithet “oretanus” refers to the Cordillera Oretana, the low-elevation Central Iberian Mountain Chain that extends from Montes de Toledo through Sierra de Guadalupe and Sierra de Montánchez in Spain and to Serra de São Mamede in Portugal, the main area where the new species occurs.
