Helolampis nigriceps Descamps, 1983: Helolampis nigriceps (Bactrophorinae): Typical arboreal grasshopper with protuberant eyes, long tarsi and coloured knees. The eye is divided into an upper, darkly pigmented and a lower, reddish half which could be an adaptation to light conditions in the canopy San Pablo (Ecuador), 1985. (Otu).
