Gender, form, and etymology
Etymology:
Dedicated to Professor Ranulfo González Obando, entomologist and taxonomist who introduced the first author to the study of Tettigoniidae. The name is an anagram derived by the words Ra- from Ranulfo, and -gon from Gonzáles.
