Gender, form, and etymology

Etymology:

Diminutive of the Slavic word for ‘beast’ (zvir, zvier, zver in Slavic languages), owing to the beasty look of Zvierckia members, but also after the authors' friend Dora Zvjerković, who found this genus interesting.
