Gender, form, and etymology

Etymology:

Coined from the Latin verb ēnatō, ēnatāre (swim away, escape by swimming) and the suffiix -tor to form an agent noun (one who swims away). The name combines the general affinity of tetrigids for water with the nomenclatural theme of the author's paper, the long imprisonment of the corresponding species in the Australian Tetrix.
