Etymology:

In honor of the authors' friend and colleague Dr. Ashley B. Gurney of the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the U.S. National Museum, Washington, D.C. Dr. Gurney helped in many ways in the past and has particularly given much advice in the preparation of the present study.
