Descendants and synonyms
Gender, form, and etymology
Etymology:
Dedicated to the authors' colleague Morgan Hebard, in recognition of the fact that the greater part of the contemporary work on the North American grasshoppers was the result of this labors, and also that he was one of the first to collect the species in 1916 at Bald Knob in Virginia.
