Gender, form, and etymology

Etymology:

In honor of Edwin R. Helwig, assistant professor of zoology at the University of Pennsylvania, who collected the type of the genotypic species, and whose studies of the cytology of numerous Orthoptera form important contributions to the knowledge of the subject.
