Etymology:
Greek, μεγασυνάκτωρ, megasynactor, great collector. Dedicated to a great collector, this species honors Mont A. Cazier (1911-1995), long-time curator of the American Museum of Natural History, and an inspiration to a young entomologist. It is likely that, without Dr. Cazier, this revision might never never been started.
