Gender, form, and etymology
Etymology:
This genus is named Satizabalus, after the authors' colleague, Martin Satizabal, who first discovered the sexual dimorphism within the genus, during a pioneering field trip to the cloud forest of Western Cordillera near Cali, Valle del Cauca, Colombia, in 1996.
