Gender, form, and etymology
Etymology:
Named after the authors' colleague Martin Satizabal, who discovered the sexual dimorphism within this genus in 1996, during a pioneering field trip to the cloud forest of the Western Cordillera near Cali, Valle del Cauca, Colombia.
