Gender, form, and etymology
Etymology:
Dedicated to Charles Hugh Fraser Rowell, who has contributed enormously to the knowledge of grasshoppers, and for always being willing to help and support the research of these insects in different ways. The termination -scopia is the common termination for several genera of this insect family.
