Etymology:

The species is named after Helen Lehnfeld, sponsor and initiator of the non-profit organization “Planetlungs Amazonas” as well as founder and president of the company “United American Resources”, actively involved in projects on environmental protection technologies and on ecological and socio-economic protection of the Amazon Region.
